Welcome to
GPS Healthcare

Due to severe weather conditions, Village Surgery will be closed this morning. All other surgeries are open as normal.

For patients with appointments at Village Surgery, a member of our team will contact you directly to discuss alternative arrangements.

For all other sites, please assume appointments will go ahead as scheduled unless you are contacted by a member of our team.

Please only travel if it is safe to do so. If you would like to rearrange your appointment, contact us in the usual way and we will be happy to help. Alternatively, if you would prefer to change a face-to-face appointment to a telephone consultation, please let us know.

Thank you for your understanding and please take care.

Non-urgent advice: Important Update: Face Mask Guidance

Due to a rise in flu and other respiratory infections in our area, we have been advised by NHS infection control teams to reintroduce mask-wearing in all GP practices. Please wear a mask when visiting the practice, especially if you have cough, cold or flu symptoms. Masks are available at reception if needed. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. This measure is temporary and will be reviewed regularly.

Submit your online request here:

Warning

You will receive an appropriate response from us on the day your request is received. After 4pm, urgent requests should be submitted by phone. If the GP practice is closed, visit NHS 111 online or call 111. In an emergency call 999.

Due to a recent rise in flu cases in our local area, our clinicians and reception team will be wearing masks to help protect our patients – especially those who are more vulnerable.

We kindly ask all patients to wear a mask when visiting the practice, if you are able to. This small step helps reduce the spread of infection and keeps everyone safer.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Local and NHS services

The surgery works in partnership with local and NHS service providers and groups.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.
