Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s GP Patient Survey.
Your feedback is invaluable — it shows us what’s working well and where we can make things better.
What we’re proud of:
- 93% of patients said they have confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to.
- 94% felt listened to.
- 89% said they were treated with care and concern.
- 80% felt fully involved in decisions about their care and treatment.
Where we’re focusing our efforts:
We know that getting an appointment and reaching us easily by phone or online is still a challenge for some patients. We’re already making changes to improve this, including:
- Adding a “What Happens Next” message to our online request system so you know exactly how your request will be handled.
- Ongoing training for our reception team, with new customer service sessions planned.
- Digital drop-in sessions starting in September to help with the NHS App and online forms.
- A website refresh to make it quicker to find and use our most popular services.
- Careful preparation for the October change to all-day online access for routine appointments, with safety and capacity in mind.
We’ll share regular updates on our progress, starting with our first action plan update in December.
