Full Launch of Blinx Online Service – 6th June 2025
Following the successful internal launch of our new digital platform Blinx, we are excited to announce that the full Blinx online service will be available to all patients starting Friday, 6th June 2025 at 8:00am.
What Blinx Means for You
From 6th June, you’ll be able to:
- Submit medical and administrative requests online
- Book appointments without needing to create an account
- Access a wider range of our services throughout the day
- Use any device — smartphone, tablet, or computer
- Complete detailed health forms that help our triage team understand your needs quickly and accurately
No Login Required
Unlike other online services, Blinx does not require you to create an account or remember passwords. Simply enter your NHS number and date of birth to get started.
How to Access Blinx
From Friday, 6th June at the new time of 8:00am:
- Visit our practice website
- Click the Blinx icon on the home screen
- Follow the simple on-screen instructions
- Submit your request, book an appointment, or find the information you need
Important: Use the Correct Health Form
Please ensure you select the correct health form for your condition. Each form is tailored to specific concerns, so our triage team can gather the right information and direct you to the appropriate care quickly.
Forms submitted using an incorrect template may be returned without processing. This is because each form contains specific questions tailored to the condition it addresses. We kindly ask you to use the designated forms to ensure your request is handled safely and appropriately.
Service Update: Patchs Closing
Our current Patchs online service will cease on Thursday, 5th June 2025. Please do not submit any new requests through Patchs after this date.
Need Help?
- You can watch the Blinx presentation video on our website for an overview and answers to common questions. This will be available from Thursday 5th June.
- From Friday Morning, check the “Appointments” section of our website for guidance
- Ask one of our staff when you are present at the surgery or speaking with us over the phone
No Internet Access?
If you don’t have internet access, don’t worry — our phone and in-person services will continue as usual. Our internal team will also use the Blinx system to provide you with a consistent, improved service whether you contact us online, by phone, or in person.
Thank You
We appreciate your patience during this transition. Blinx has been designed with your feedback in mind to make accessing our services simpler and more convenient.
We would also like to thank both our Patient Participation Group members and the rest of our patients who attended the two Blinx drop-in sessions we held recently. The feedback on the new system was very positive and we were able to have some really productive conversations with you.
We look forward to you trying the new system!
